Descripción
Spinlock has worked in the application of Magnetic Resonance (TD-NMR) to the detection of Liquid Explosives Bomb Scanners are based in robust volumetric and superficial Halbach permanent Magnets.
Technical Brief
Time Domain Magnetic Resonance (TD-NMR) is can be used to scan liquid and viscous explosives. A container (e.g. a bottle) is placed on a conveyor through the internal gap of a conventional cylindrical NMR Magnet.
Results are simple "Yes/No" answers advising presence of dangerous liquids, without any need for interpretation by the operator. The device is easy to use, safe to operate, and requires scarce maintenance operations.
Technology behind this equipment is based in Spinlock's US Patent for Complex Fluids: US Patent # 7,719,267: D. Pusiol "Apparatus and method for real time and real flow-rates measurements of oil and water cuts from oil production". Granted by May 18, 2010".
